STONEHEDGE Shepherds “F”- Litter 2009
We expect great things from this litter as they are sired by Philippine Grand Champion & 2x VA2 Quartz whilst the dam is the daughter of VA Eskos v Hirschel from Germany. The puppies are heavy from the day there were born. Noticeable features of the puppies are short wide muzzles, prominent stops, heavy set bones and very thick and bushy coat similar to our Quessa. STONEHEDGE GERMAN SHEPHERDS “Quessa” was rated SG3 amongst imported females in the 2007 German Shepherd Dog Federation’s Sieger Show. She was the only local born female that placed in the top 3 rank, hence garnering the Best Philippine Born Award in the 12 to 18 Months Female Class. Under the breeder of the current World Sieger Zamp Thermodos – SV Judge Albrecht Woerner of Germany! As mentioned by numerous participants, this judge have been very objective in his evaluations of all the dogs in all class. Having no influence, prejudice nor affiliation whatsoever with the officials nor invitors.

Welcome to STONEHEDGE German Shepherds!
Our journey with the german shepherds came about back in 1990 when we had a chance to watch a Lundesgruppen. Top kennels were in this show and majority of the top rated dogs were from Baguio. Baguio, because of it’s altitude -approximately 3400+ above sea level, has the best climate for German Shepherds in the Philippines. Because of the beauty, agility and personality of this working breed we became very interested.
In 1992 several years and shows after, we purchased our very first German Shepherd. Her name was Cara. She was bred in Baguio. Our relationship was short-lived with this puppy because of having caught the corona virus. It took us several years before we got through cara.
In 1998 we then had a chance to purchase our very first imported female shepherd from one of the known kennel in Manila. Since then we started showing and importing from world rated German Shepherd Kennel in Germany.
